Clinical Trial Matching
How Carify finds and screens clinical trials for you
Clinical Trial Matching
Carify searches ClinicalTrials.gov in real time to find trials that may be relevant to your diagnosis.
How It Works
During playbook generation, Carify:
- Identifies your condition — diagnosis type, stage, biomarkers, mutations
- Searches ClinicalTrials.gov — queries the database for active, recruiting trials
- Screens for eligibility — filters based on your age, biological sex, zip code, and performance status
- Ranks by relevance — prioritizes trials that closely match your specific case
What You'll See
Each matched trial includes:
- Trial title and NCT number — official identifier for looking up more details
- Phase badge — Phase 1, 2, 3, or 4
- Eligibility assessment:
- ✅ Likely Match — your profile appears to meet key criteria
- ⚠️ Check Eligibility — some criteria need further evaluation
- ❌ May Not Qualify — your profile doesn't match key criteria
- Distance — miles to the nearest trial location (when zip code is provided)
- Direct link — opens the trial on ClinicalTrials.gov for full details
Important Notes
- Trial matching is informational only — only a trial's medical team can determine actual eligibility
- Always discuss trials with your oncologist before applying
- Trial availability changes frequently — check ClinicalTrials.gov for the most current status
- Providing your zip code during intake significantly improves location-based matching
